Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is an American singer, actress, writer and director. Her most well-known work is her part in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred on her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son, born on January 8th 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson is her sibling and a talented artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson started appearing in different films, like The Killing Jar. Benson was also a part of TV shows like Morganville The Series. Benson also utilised her talents as a scriptwriter on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and was the director of Drones in 2010. Buffy says that she took the time to count and find the Slayers, she discovered around 1800 Slayers across the world, from which 500 belong to the Scooby Gang.
