Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian background. Her parents were an Madras High Court attorney. Also, she has an older sister who works as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. The woman has claimed that she was quite a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea learned classical piano when she was eight. When she was 10, she was an active member of the Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. While at college she also was a theater artist and performed in stage shows produced by The Madras Players. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. She was also the character in Podhigai's series. She performed throughout India. She had a short role during the climax in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Following her performance of a song for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu the director asked her to join as one of the lead female characters in his upcoming venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. The husband of the character is involved in a relationship with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea got the part of Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were approached. The film was released in the early part of 2010, She agreed in 2011 to play a minor supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was released in August 2011, Annayum Rasoolum by Rajeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she debuted in Malayalam by releasing on the 11th of August, 2013.
