Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as one of the members of the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own group of musicians with three classmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in 2010. He was always interested in music, but he would like to work as a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to support his family, he spent a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalists. However they were placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Although Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco Record label.
